Liked: Great team at the hotel. Excellent breakfast options, both buffet and cooked to order. Super wine list and fabulous pieces of art around the hotel.
Disliked: Paid for an Atrium Suite with balcony. Unfortunately our room was at the end of the building, and we faced overgrown shrubbery with minimal views.

We went as a treat...

Liked: Really impressive and luxurious. The food and drink was incredibly expensive and I was shocked at a service charge added the individual order this included in even a glass of wine and the spa treatment- and extra 20 pound service charge on top of an expensive treatment didn’t feel right. But then you have to go through embarrassing experience of having it justified and asked to be taken off.
Disliked: Great facilities wine cellar tour was great interesting and the wine and food was delicious although not very filling portion size wise

Liked: The food and customer service were outstanding. The room was beautiful and huge and the spa was lovely and relaxing and not too busy at all.
Disliked: The mattress was very soft and we love a firm mattress. Our room was very hot making it difficult to sleep. There’s a fan in the room but it didn’t seem to be working

A nice hotel and delicious...

Liked: The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Everyone at the hotel was very welcoming to our dog and in general the hotel was very accessible as dog owners. The food, both breakfast and dinner, was delicious.
Disliked: While the hotel is nice, it is not a 5-star property. The entire place feels tired and worn out. The spa is dated and simple. The Sauna was not warm enough. Overall it was not good value for money.

A relaxing stay in a...

Liked: Upon arrival I was greeted by John, who took my bag and handed me a lovely chilled glass of wine whilst I checked in. I was then informed I had been upgraded to a suite, another lovely surprise. The room was beautiful, quiet, well equipped, with a coffee machine, plenty of pods, a fantastic work space. The bedroom was warm, the bed very comfortable, and the bedding beautifully ironed and pure white. Bedroom was also lovely, with a selection of products for use. Dinner was delicious, the restaurant is elegant and peaceful, perfect as a lone business traveller. Overall, a super stay.
Disliked: Nothing - everything was perfect.
