Not what I expected from...

Liked: Nice bathroom and comfortable bed. Peaceful location away from traffic noise. Generous full English breakfast but slow service.
Disliked: No marmalade for breakfast and no fresh fruit or muesli either. No side plate or knife provided for your toast. The coffee and tea were self service from two smallish pots which weren't always topped up and went cold if you had a late sitting. Suggest they provide a hot water heated urn and tea bags/coffee for making fresh hot cups. Soup spoons were used for the cereal! Cereal and juice were self service which was fine but the jug of milk was sometimes empty.Room was not serviced so you had to make up your own bed and collect tea/coffee/milk/sugar/soap/shampoo from the reception when you ran out.Only one small Lux soap bar and tiny bottle of shampoo on arrival for two people? We got more from reception.

Ok hotel for Skegness

Liked: Location and look of the outside. The shower was very good and one of the two beds was comfortable. Reception staff was friendly
Disliked: "luxury" toiletries advertised on their website didn't exist. Noisy from other areas (music at 7am), bar staff clueless, very basic for what could be a lovely "luxury" hotel. No water or snacks in the room!

Liked: Staff were very welcoming. Room was large,well furnished and clean with complimentary toiletries
Disliked: Hot water was not as hot as I would if liked for a bath. We were at the front of the hotel so quite a lot of noise from people drinking outside
