Good value dog friendly comfy...

Liked: Bedroom was good .. dog friendly and clean .. didn't use the pub or eat so can't comment .. location was good if that's where u need to be .. we were visiting family .. really nice park just up the road before you get to Dalton retail park which again is walkable and dog friendly.
Disliked: some of fittings in ensuite could have done with a little maintenance (taps loose) didn't affect our stay .. pub was a bit noisy below ..

Only stayed one night but...

Liked: Very clean and comfortable,staff friendly.Wi-Fi in room which was a bonus.Price was great.
Disliked: Only fault in bathroom could do with a hook on door or wall for towel and tray in shower.

Disliked: The rooms are above a pub, so there will be noise. It’s something one get used to though, so this is not crucial.

Disliked: No hot water in shower, shower pressure poor. No welcome book with cases to WiFi or location information

Welcoming Pub, very doggy friendly

Liked: Staff friendly and helpful, coffee/tea refilled daily. The room was clean and bed comfortable with a modern ensuite bathroom with a shower. The locals in the pub are chatty and welcoming. Nice village close to parks for dog walking and local amenities. Ideally situated for days out at Seaham and Durham and plenty of local beaches.
