Liked: Very nice updated place, staff was friendly and the place was super quiet! Would definitely stay again.
Disliked: Bed was a little hard for my liking but otherwise nice place

Amazing place! We’ll be back!

Liked: Stay here! This place was amazing. Great price, easy to get to, good location, less than $10 to uber to the historic third ward, breakfast on weekends, and a great staff. Everyone was friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. If you’d rather support a locally owned hotel than a major corporation then stay here! We’ll definitely be back.
Disliked: Everything was great! We’ll definitely be returning the next time we go to a concert in Milwaukee! -They just got a new hot water system that they’re still working on, but they let us know to turn the water on early and let it warm up. Not a big deal for us, plus I’d rather wait 5 minutes for hot water than pay $100 more for a basic hotel room in a chain hotel somewhere.

Bad

Disliked: the female manager was very rude over the phone and was calling us “airheads,” “bitches,” and “dumbasses” and would not let us back in the room. she also threatened to “drag our asses out of her office” and proceeded to be extremely rude when i politely asked for a refund since we did not stay the night or leave a mess. another male individual who was trying to help us wanted a refund and to not stay but they did not allow him to do so. i do not recommend this place at all.

Much needed experience!

Liked: I loved the original decor. That is what brought me to the hotel over our previous choice when we have stayed in Milwaukee. We will be staying again! The girl at the desk was very nice helpful! We loved also that you had a pet door for the cats and we saw the cats all over as we are animal lovers. It was a unique aspect and it was a great stay!
Disliked: It was really cold in the room and the heater was louder when it kicked in. Otherwise it was a really great room.

Decent stay but doors need...

Liked: Overall it was a great stay
Disliked: The doors have a huge problem unlocking with BOTH key cards and keys. Had to go to the main office around 5 times, 3 of which being within the hour due to the card not working after an exhausting day. The other two times were the night before, also after an exhausting day.

Liked: It was close to the concert venue, however you didn't want to walk that street after 10pm.
Disliked: Bed was very uncomfortable. Room wasn't clean. Fridge was unplugged. No wifi. No Security. Gate could be pushed open, why even have it?

Very good
