A place to chill and...

Liked: The hotel is in an idyllic place very peaceful and the building is stunning.The staff were very helpful and friendly .Breakfast was served by staff wearing white gloves and the food was delicious.
Disliked: The lift didn’t work and from what we read it hasn’t for some time

Liked: Real character, good facilities and friendly staff
Disliked: Difficult to find - satnav provided an inaccurate arrival location with no signage from the central town green

very nice place to stay...

Liked: All was excellent.
Disliked: Aircon didn't work in our room, not even a remote to try to get it working ( I didn't report this until we left )

Very comfortable stay

Liked: Lovely clean comfortable room. Interesting old building.
Disliked: Breakfast was ok but felt it was served very quickly after ordering and seemed to have been standing in a warmer or similar? The more mature ladies who served us last time we stayed were very friendly but young ones this time not so much

Liked: Lovely place and great value. Peaceful location just outside lovely wrea green and only a few miles to Lytham. Decent restaurant and reasonable prices.
Disliked: Everything was great, a good value stay all round
