The Villa Country House Hotel

A very comfortable, welcoming hotel.

Liked: Very comfortable rooms, my brother's room was easy access as requested, All the staff were very friendly and welcoming, breakfast was hearty and very tasty. The availability of food throughout the day was excellent, we had dinner on both evenings, which was well cooked, nicely served and good value. The outside space around the hotel is lovely and well maintained.
Disliked: Nothing really other than the mobile signal and wi-fi connectivity was at times poor, but given the nature of the building and location this was understandable. We were informed by the helpful reception staff on arrival the best ways to keep connected during our stay.

Lovely setting, enjoyed every minute.

Liked: Great location, short walk in to the village. Good choice of breakfast and meals, food was delicious. Rooms clean and bed comfortable with blackout curtains. Bar prices cheaper than local pub.

Liked: I was in a downstairs room with a dog and there was a lot of banging in the night, setting the dog off
Disliked: The fee for the dog was a little excessive at £20. Also, please note, it says £10 in the information inside the room
