Liked: Great location close to plenty of restaurants/bars, only a 5 minute drive to the slopes or free bus right outside the door. Clean, comfortable room. We wanted to go skiing half day on Saturday then check out, and since no one rented our room that night they gave us a 1 pm check out time, the latest I've ever had. Great coffee in the lobby, plus free snacks and oatmeal but no real breakfast. Not an issue though, plenty of places nearby!

Cozy ski lodge charm!

Liked: The Viking Lodge is incredibly charming, and the location can’t be beat. It’s got a cozy, old school ski lodge vibe in the best way. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room and common spaces were impeccably clean, the bed was comfortable, and our room was appropriately updated! The lobby area is a living room of sorts- we sat around and played cards by the fireplace after skiing all day. There’s also a little kitchenette where you can make coffee, grab small snacks, or borrow a wine glass. Location wise, it’s right by the main bus stop where you can catch the Lift to the resort, and also surrounded by local restaurants, breweries and shops.
