Very disappointing.

Liked: Fan in room
Disliked: Under the Heathrow flight path.Tiny room. Hit head on shelf in the way. Tiny bathroom. Very weak water pressure in shower. Bathroom door would not shut. Car park closed. No staff on duty. Had to phone to get wifi code. Got an answer after an hour. Breakfast did not start till 8.30, so went without, as it wss too late. 40 mins from kew gardens, not 5 as advertised. Very expensive for a tiny room. I would like a 50% refund

Welcoming, great staff and food

Liked: We booked The Victoria as we had a wedding nearby. It was easy to find, parking was free and we parked right outside. We were greeted by friendly staff and as you walk in the pub has a great atmosphere. The staff are fantastic, knowledgeable in the products and attentive but not intense and the food was very good.The room was clean and modern. For an overnight stay, it provided everything we needed, but if we had been staying more than a few nights, the size of our room may have caused problems. The room had all the little touches you'd expect, bottled water, tea, coffee, biscuits, and complimentary toiletries in the bathroom, too.The continental breakfast, included in the cost, was fantastic, and the full English breakfast was exceptional. Very good quality products. When we booked in, they were serving roast dinners, and it looked amazing and smelt fantastic.
Disliked: Our room was quite dark as on the ground floor and the window had a privacy film on it. I understand the reason for this, but personally, I like a brighter room.

Comfortable, convenient, well priced

Liked: Lovely staff, beautiful quiet location, close to some shops and handy to Heathrow and Richmond.
Disliked: As soon as we opened the door it was clear the previous guest had smoked in the room. The smell was overwhelming and disappointing.

Liked: Very average basic breakfast
Disliked: Poor parking facilities, small bathroom

Good

Liked: On the day of check out we went for breakfast at 8.45 and came back around 9.15 to find our bed had been stripped and changed, our towels taken away and replaced by new ones for the next guest- we still had to use the facilities and pack up! Felt very sorry for whoever was coming in behind us!

Disappointing, the staff need better...

Disliked: The hotel was fine, but the staff for the evening meal where unfamiliar with the menu and we were only offered one menu to select from, when there were actually two on offer. The food was fine, but the lady who looked after us, was not fully trained as information in general was sadly lacking.We could not open the windows in either of the rooms and it would have been good to be able to do so. The bathroom door in Room 3 did not close properly.Breakfast was OK, but the inclusive offering was poor. Two of us had Eggs Benedict which should have had Wiltshire Ham on, but it was Parma ham and not very good Parma ham, a rather unusual combination.
