Liked: Lovely Hotel , very comfortable , in lounges Bar Bedroom. The food at Breakfast was plentiful and a good variety. .The Evening meals were wholesome, although a little bit expensive. The service from the waitresses was excellent .Our Bedroom room 30 , was large , very comfy and warm . Lovely view of the fields Excellent location , in walking distance of Beach ,Castle and shops . The Hotel has its own car park 100 yards away .
Disliked: Don't park under the tall trees opposite , when birds are nesting , your car won't look too pretty in the morning . No porter's to carry your luggage up three flights of stairs , no offer of help from reception. The girl on reception asked for our money before we had time to put down our luggage ,in front of other guests .

Liked: All the reception rooms, general public rooms , dining rooms and bedrooms are light and airy which we really appreciated. Great location and at this time of year plenty of free roadside parking.
Disliked: Nothing!

Disliked: Squeaky floorboards in room but was an old property

Liked: A wonderful Hotel with a lovely old fashioned feel but a very nicely renovated. Friendly, pleasant staff and all creature comforts. The staff rose to the occasion magnificently when a power cut left the whole of Bamburgh without power on Easter Saturday evening. everything else went according to plan and I had a great stay at the Victoria Hotel - would happily return
