Liked: Location and lovely friendly and accommodating staff.
Disliked: Looking a little tired inside, scuffed doors, annoying toilet seat, windows shabby and windowsills in dining room obviously hard to clean with lights dangling on them so dirty

Disliked: Room felt rundown and tired. All surfaces were worn. Shower door strip was dirty and needed replacing. Bathroom vent fan stayed on for an eternity.Could have beautiful views of the river and fields beyond but bushes and trees are overgrown. Gardens in general needed tending. Could be lovely with a bit of thought, investment and tlc.

Disliked: Stains of tea/coffee in room not been cleaned up. Leaky facilities in bathroom.

Liked: The Location was perfect for our trip to Manchester and was a great location to get on the Motorway
Disliked: When we Arrived there was no one at reception we were then told we couldn’t go to our room for 20 Minutes as the cleaners were doing work on the room which was fine but then we were told we couldn’t sit in the bar as it doesn’t open till later which for 20 Minutes felt unnecessary and could’ve let us sit, However we were told that we could go to our room on arrival the shower had empty bottles of shower gel and other products a scrunchie was left in the room and there a darkBlack Hair on the bed , This room didn’t look clean and felt very dirty , We went down and were moved to another room the room was much cleaner but had no Hand Soap just Hand Lotion when we asked if we could have soap we were told there was none so ended up being given a glass of what smelt like washing up liquid not soap the Bed felt like it was broken as it sunk when you laid in it , Real Shame as have stayed here a few times but feels like it has gone down hill and lacks care and attention

Liked: The lady that was working the bar and restaurant was very nice and helpful.
Disliked: To say this hotel has gone downhill is an understatement. It’s awful and sad.

Liked: Breakfast was great and so was the person we dealt with!
Disliked: Our room was very tired, needed decorating… a little grubby! Sadly the chef had an emergency so no food that night. Our bed was more like a large single than a double too, smallest bed we have slept in! Twas all a little odd as the person on duty who was running everything was just a little “wet” that’s the only word I can use and I don’t mean it badly but there was no real welcome no real commitment no real passion on anything, just all a little apologetic!

Liked: Clean bedding and towels and comfy beds, staff very pleasant
Disliked: Only half a toilet roll provided, fair bit of dust on dressing room table, don't think it had been hoovered, , room needs serious update including the windows
