Wonderful helpful staff but disappointed...
Liked: The location. The staff. The bar area
Disliked: The bedroom facilities not as advertised. The bed was uncomfortable so we moved rooms. Very tired looking decor. Carpet on stairs going threadbare. The food.

Fast and easy check-in but...
Liked: Good customer service, and was close to a client site I needed even though it is very remote.
Disliked: Wi-fi connection was awful.Temperature control was poor, no air conditioning and had to use a window which was very clunky to use - there was a large extractor fan outside too creating a large amount of noise. Overall difficult to sleep in the room I was given (room 11) and I only stayed for sleep for workCarpet and bathroom extremely outdated, chair at desk very low to sit on, shower temperature continuously fluctuates making it too hot at times...

Superb
Liked: Everything was wonderful. It began with a shy introduction of ginger carrot soup, welcoming smiles, and a comfortable check-in. The room was so welcoming that I felt instantly at home. Staff were naturally helpful and friendly.. The location was so pretty and relaxing in a leafy village next to a stream. Idyllic setting, walking distance to the village, Viaduct, and other families. There are so many great attractions within a short drive too.
Disliked: Nothing I didn't like except the stay was too short

Lovely Rural (M6) Hotel.
Liked: Good, clean and nicely located hotel a few miles from the M6. The staff were efficient and friendly. We ate an evening meal in the restaurant which was very good, if not a little pricey (Malaysian chicken curry £21). The room was reasonably spacious and bed comfortable. The provision of bottled water, biscuits and crisps was a nice touch! We had room 21 on the first floor with a rural view. The only very small snag was intermittent water flow through the shower, which didn't really cause a problem. At £80 for the one night stay (we didn't take breakfast) it was excellent value for money.
Disliked: Nothing much really. Nice place!
