'Located in Chichester center The Vestry features cooked breakfasts and free Wi-Fi. Just 984 feet from Chichester Cathedral the hotel has a lively bar and restaurant open daily from 10am till 11pm until 3am on Thursday Friday & Saturday nights for live music down in the bar area and 12pm Monday nights. Guests therefore can experience noise in their room until this time.' The individual rooms at Vestry Chichester each have a private modern bathroom TV and tea/coffee facilities. Some rooms have super king-size beds or corner baths and all feature a hairdryer. All our rooms are located on the 1st floor accessible by the staircase. Please note we have no elevators on site but the staff are happy to offer any assistance taking your luggage to your room if required. The Vestry is a 5-minute walk from the Tudor Market Cross and 984 feet from Pallant House Art Gallery. Full of history and character Chichester's shops and restaurants can be reached in just a few minutes' walk.

A comfortable stay at a...

Liked: A nice clean room, an excellent breakfast and a brilliant location near the city centre.Good drinks available at the bar.
Disliked: The room (room 8) was icy cold when we arrived. It warmed-up quite quickly after we turned on the electric heater provided. Suggest putting the electric heater on a timer.The ceiling mounted PIR sensor in the hallway outside the room did not trigger the lighting at the room door, this made it difficult to see to open the door; one had to walk past the room door by approx.,five feet to trigger the lights on. Suggest adjusting the sensitivity of the PIR sensor or re-siting it.

Started well ended badly

Liked: Great room and warm
Disliked: Breakfast . We came down at 10 and the manager said it had finished. However they have a pavement board with breakfast served till 10.30,which we observed the night before. Spoiled the stay

Superb

Liked: Very comfortable room, excellent breakfast and very central to all shops bus station and train station..was warned about live bands but ear plugs supplied However hardly heard a thing and was soon asleep
Disliked: Stairs to rooms. Carrying heavy suitcases up and down was very difficult.
