Great stay - highly recommended!

Liked: Great location, comfortable room and helpful, very friendly staff. Tasty breakfast included in good price.
Disliked: The only minor problem was the sometimes erratic Wi-Fi.

Exceptional

Perfect spot for a mid...

Liked: This was our second stay, so that says something. The rooms are spacious with ample cupboards. The bathroom was also spacious and clean. The Vestry is in the heart of the city and has allocated parking spaces just behind the hotel. We like early nights, so we avoided the music 'til 3am nights - although there are ear-=plugs available! For those who want it there is a wide variety of cooked breakfast available.
Disliked: Because there was no shelf near the bathroom's two-pin shaver socket, we couldn't charge toothbrushes there. The shampoo and shower gel are fixed at standing shower height - so not very convenient for taking a a bath.

Liked: The room was very big & also so was the bed, good quality bed linen & towels. Very clean. Staff were fabulous.
Disliked: Smoked bacon & Lincolnshire sausage. The rest of breakfast was brilliant.

Liked: Room was very cosy, staff were really nice, very comfy bed
Disliked: We stayed weds to fri for a friend's wedding in the area. We were told about the student night but also told we had a better room because we "wouldn't really be able to hear it" and that rooms 1-3 got the most noise. However, the window in our room didn't really close properly and so Thursday night was absolutely appalling, our room may as well have hosted the DJ. I could hear full conversations happening over the music we had such noise infiltration. And the Earplugs were cheap and did nothing, almost insulting to offer them. We were completely deceived with just how awful that evening was going to be, so disappointed. Especially as our friends were in room 2 and when we went to theirs to see if they had the same issue (as they should, given we were told that was one of the worst rooms) they had a double window that almost fully muted the noise. Totally unacceptable and astonished it costs what it does for a Thurs evening knowing majority of guests will not be able to sleep until after 4am.
