A real B&B in Woodstock...

Liked: The Vesper is the last of a dying breed: a real b&b. Breakfasts were a real highlight, as we sat and conversed with a diverse group of folks from around the country and the world.
Disliked: Nothing stands out as a fault.

Disappointing

Liked: It did have a good location, it was clean, the room was large and bed was comfortable.
Disliked: What bothered us was no innkeepers on site.We were texted where the room was in the house and the key was in the door but there was no closetfor one thing. There was a pole but no hangars.I like to unpack instead of living out of the suitcase.So I tried to text or call Jessica, our Vesper contact,but my 5G AT&T cell had no signal. We were amazed that we couldn’t get hold of her till we went into town. Also, no TV which we like to watch at night.

Had a wonderful experience and...

Liked: Great location, quiet neighborhood, comfortable room and my own bathroom, owner was responsive and on-site to answer questions. Delicious breakfast but no decaf coffee if you are like me, so bring your own.
Disliked: All good!

Liked: The location was perfect, the room was lovely, the bed very comfortable
Disliked: The room lighting. Being on the ground floor with not much light from outside, an extra lamp would help.
