Liked: Location is amazing - views over the Tyne towards Gateshead. Perfect for enjoying the Newcastle nightlife, shopping, theatres, museums and art gallery's. The room was a good size and very stylish. All the staff were very friendly but professional. We had afternoon tea before booking in to our room. It was fab - lots to eat and the quality and variety of the food was very good.
Disliked: Unfortunately our next door neighbours were having an argument and we could hear every word - it went on for over an hour - we kept hoping it would stop. We were getting up at 5.30am so needed our sleep - I eventually had to ring the reception desk at 12.15 - things did settle down shortly after. This is not the fault of the hotel - we were just unlucky but it did impact our stay.
