I had a wonderful stay...

Liked: I recently stayed at a Marriott and was truly impressed by the outstanding service I received. As a Marriott member, I already had high expectations — but the staff went above and beyond to make my stay special. From the moment I arrived, everyone was incredibly hospitable. One of the team members even helped carry my luggage to the lobby without me asking — a small gesture, but it really made me feel cared for. Their kindness and attention to detail didn’t go unnoticed.I also appreciated the late check-out, which made my departure much more relaxed. It’s those thoughtful touches that make all the difference.Thank you to the entire team for making my stay so warm and welcoming. I’ll definitely be back!
Disliked: The only downside to my stay was the elevator situation. The elevators were quite slow and often crowded, which made getting to and from my room a bit frustrating at times. I do wish there were more working elevators to better handle the flow of guests.

Fun, comfortable, great value.

Liked: It was close to several restaurants. The staff was very accommodating and had little touches to make us feel at home. Julie was the best, she was friendly and made it fun for us during our stay. The rooftop bar was such a haven for us.

If you not staying at...

Liked: The art Gallery was a beautiful lil treat, bed was so comfortable we sleep through 2 nights of plans and weren’t mad at all, 12 PM checkout time is a blessing and a lifesaver I hope y’all never change it, Eli at the front was mad welcoming and transparent about parking: explained the price for valet and also let me know that there is often street parking which saved me $210 in parking for the UHaul van we used to get down here. Complimentary coffee was a great way to start my day, the ambiance in the hotel was exactly what we needed for an anniversary trip. Next time we’re in DC we know where to go

Scam

Liked: -
Disliked: This hotel is an absolute scam. Upon arrival the FO employee told me that I got a $28 daily credit as a destination fee, afraid of the hidden fees/charges, I declined her offer. She told me that I already paid (past tense!) for it, so sure I thought it was already included in my price so of course I accepted it. The lady acted like it was a $28 daily credit for food & beverages in the hotel (and some goodies) – ok fine. I did not spend the $28 daily credit (only partially one day) as I would rather explore DC than stay in the hotel. Then when I arrived home the hotel charged me the $28 daily destination fee, so they act like they give you a $28 daily fee but in essence you pay for it yourself and what you don’t spend goes to Mariott/the Hotel and is not reimbursed. That’s not a destination fee, but a scam. What is preventing you from asking a $100 mandatory fee and not reimbursing what was not spent? There’s no information on this when you book the hotel. Pure scam!!Not only did they charge the destination fee, but someone else ordered food/drinks charged to my room (which is easy as they don’t check in which room you are when charging it to the room). So upon arriving home, I found out that they took an extra $26.40 from my card for someone else’s food/drinks. They are now doing their “investigation”, but that’s taking too long. This should be reimbursed. When I checked out, the FO employee did not inform me about any outstanding invoices – she should have, again no communication! Because then I could have made the hotel aware of the fact that I do not accept this, not the destination fee and not paying for someone else’s food and drinks. I’m still awaiting their “investigation” into this matter, but this is taking too long. For me this hotel is a pure scam!Charging hidden fees and acting as they give it (included in the price) + charging someone else’s food and drinks to me = SCAM.
