Pleasant short stay with friendly...

Liked: Very friendly and welcoming members of staff who provided information on the local area; much appreciated. Comfortable bar and breakfast area, the breakfast being typically Scottish, which was good. Nice walk along the beach across the road!
Disliked: Obviously as the hotel is located a few miles outside of Campbeltown we needed to drive the short distance into the town, so if visiting Campletown need to be aware that there is very little around the hotel.

Nice hotel in a great...

Liked: The room was comfortable and had a nice powerful shower.The breakfast was good with plenty of choice.The location was good with lovely views of the sea and the golf course.
Disliked: The restaurant in the hotel wasn’t open every evening and there wasn’t anywhere within the hotel to have a drink or snack in comfortable surroundings during the day. We had a problem with a mostly inedible steak in the restaurant. The serving staff said they were sorry about that but nothing was done about it. I spoke to the front of house manager the next morning and he was very apologetic and offered us a complimentary drink and dessert the next evening in the adjoining old club house next door. The housekeeping wasn’t as thorough as we would expect.

Liked: Good breakfast and location. . TV didn’t work kettle didn’t have good access to socket .Our room was not cleaned due to staff shortages . We stayed here before and our expections were high .
