Definitely coming back . ....

Liked: Stayed in the main part of the lodge. The bedroom definitely lived up to the expectations of the Tudor ' feel ( a step back in time ) and found the vintage look a pleasure to reside in. We never stayed here before, will definitely return. Thank you so much to all staff for your hospitality. I hope next time we will experience breakfast and evening menu.
Disliked: Everything was great.

Good

Liked: We have stayed at the tudor lodge before and we know the area very well as we lived in the area for 60 years. The hotel is very convenient for Eastcote Station which is one reason we stayed here again. The staff were very friendly when we arrived.
Disliked: We stayed in room 20, which is in the old part of the hotel. Lovely large room and a big bathroom. Though there was a radiator in the bathroom it didnt heat the bedroom very well and at times it was a bit chilly. The bed being infront of the window did mean we could feel a cold draft. Maybe another heater would be helpful. Also the blinds at the window did stop daylight getting into the room and it wasnt possible to pull the blinds up. Maybe vertical blinds would be easier. This would not stop us staying again. We didnt eat at the hotel so cant comment on the restaurant, but previous visits the food was good.

Would head to a premier...

Liked: The bed and linen was super comfortable. The breakfast was good, service not great (got to breakfast an indian lady glanced at me and then carried on so i didnt know if she was a guest or staff, turned out she was staff!) The dining room was particularly hot with no ventilation but I did ask if i could have some eggs and they did offer me scrambled or fried, I was glad i asked as I enjoyed them with my breakfast and It one of the key points to a typical Full english breakfast. I also liked that my room wasn't hot and felt clean
Disliked: I was upgraded from a single to a dbl without being told... when i got to the room it was on the front of the building and sounded as though there was a window open... there was no window open! The road noise was so loud i knew it would be a problem for me to sleep as its not what I'm used to. I called down as I really needed a good night sleep before a long day at work and he said it was only king size rooms that were at the back of the house and that i'd already been upgraded to a dbl bed! I wished at 5am i'd asked the cost of how much moving would have been! I was also looking so forward to picking some food of my own choice through deliveroo, a service I dont have at home.. and was told to go to their restaurant which was indian instead... the menu looked lovely but I normally would share indian and seen as I wouldn't be able to keep any it would be a waste.. with service charge for a korma, rice, nan and maybe a side dish and a drink would have cost around £30+ When I read the terms in the room it didn't have wifi details, only at reception, so make sure you bother to take a pic, it said no food in rooms to keep clean, which is absolutely fine but again no info of this on their website of which i studied before coming! The toilet when flushed made a really long noise after ( so i'd shut the door) the hot water would take over 5 mins to run in the bason before getting warm (probably all characteristics of a old building but still worth mentioned to guests perhaps in info in the room.
