The Trentham Hotel

Comfortable base for fun filled...

Liked: Location, staff and rooms were great, as was breakfast! Few minutes walk to north pier, tower and north tram station.
Disliked: To contact the staff with any issues meant leaving the room and going downstairs to ring the ‘ring doorbell’ which meant, as a single parent’ I’d have to leave my child alone on the second floor which isn’t ideal.

A very nice stay with...

Liked: The hotel was mostly clean. Some of the breakfast tables weren’t fully cleaned from the day before but the rest of the hotel was a good standard. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. It was a great location near the north pier.
Disliked: I had some issues with how clearly I could hear the guests in the room below me. This is likely just due to the building and the staff did rectify the issue for me which was great. My only issue was how difficult it was getting a hold of staff. The ring doorbell is fine until a certain point but with young kids it’s not possible to leave the room to come down each time to speak through the doorbell.

Liked: Good location, Hotel was quiet, Room was clean, Breakfast was piping hot.Owner was polite and helpful.
Disliked: Taking into account, the owners are new, Breakfast was a little disorganised , On booking it said Irons available, unfortunately we were told no iron was available.We stayed for 3 nights and would have expected room to be made up , towels replaced and tea/coffee replenished on one of the days.But these things can easily be rectified with experience.

Disliked: Everything, cleanliness, food ,service, waited 40minutes at breakfast for 2 fried eggs .Bedding had what looked like blood on it ,mattress above son in bunkbed was filthy, brown stains don't even want to guess what it was..The reviews for this hotel are obviously complete lies or it has been taken over since reviews written.

Very good

Liked: Liked how close it was to blackpool centre. I had a twin room. Basic but nice. Breakfast was good. New owners so we could see a few teething problems but I stay again and hope next time it will be spot on.
Disliked: A bit busy at breakfast not organized but new owners they finding there feet. Got to give them a chance.
