Great location, lovely hotel and...

Liked: We love the location and decor of the property. The staff were helpful & friendly. We were able to check in early for a wedding. The room had a lovely view of the castle. Very comfortable and clean. Parking within 2 mins walk.Great breakfast!Would 100% recommend.
Disliked: The room could do with a shower, or shower hook to put the shower handle on (and curtain). Otherwise the bath was lovely!

Super Convenient Location. Lovely Staff....

Liked: The Town House is perfectly located right in town but not on the main pub route home. Easy access to everything Arundel including pubs, restaurants, pubs, castle, shops etc. The staff are really great, the best asset of this business in fact. Friendly &helpful and welcoming. Great to be able to have breakfast included, a nice mix of cooked to order and continental from the table. We've stayed before and will likely stay again
Disliked: The rooms are a bit tired and old fashioned. Not classic in the heritage sense just a bit old fashioned. They probably have better rooms but they were not available. We had a room with only a bath (only one available) and this is a real pain. Showers of course are much more efficient (although its hand held shower was a good one). Breakfast was a little inconsistent and one day the vegetarian sausages were not available at all. It's not really clear if its open for drinks in the evening, rarely any other non staying clients but some of the management staff holding meetings in the public spaces is a bit off putting. No evening offer as such but of course you're right in town so there are plenty of great places to eat/drink. None of this would stop us staying again due to the location and the really nice staff.

Loved the town house, was...

Liked: Very impressed with the town house, lovely room, loved the four post bed, had a quiet and peaceful sleep. Beautiful ornate room features. Lovely touch with the homemade cakes in the room, second day have an amazing rocky road cake, best we have ever tried! Breakfast was delicious, nice selection, Staff very attentive, friendly and chatty. Great location, right on the main high street of Arundel.
Disliked: The bath was a little small and not really suitable for showering in. The building was on a huge slope, so parking was difficult, as we have to find somewhere outside the 1 hour parking zone and park on the steepest slopes Iv ever seen! Bed was a little small, nearly rolled off a few times!

Would recommend this hotel but...

Liked: Lovely find in Arundel where I was attending a wedding. Clean, comfortable - quiet location despite being right on the high street. One of the best full English breakfast I have had and delicious homemade flapjack in the room which was very welcome after a long day at a wedding!
Disliked: Nothing
