Very poor

Liked: Location was great
Disliked: Hotel is smelly and dirty breakfast isn't good food is terrible in the hotel.

Passable

Disliked: The air conditioning didn’t work so changed rooms the second room air condition worked but the shower gel was empty and we went down for breakfast at 9 o clock when we returned to the room our things were moved and the room had been serviced ready for the next client!!! and the shower gel still empty.

Fabulous suite but bed mattress...

Liked: Our suite was very spacious with an added bonus of a sneaky balcony with views over the docks, this was the reason why we did not complain about the bed !!!
Disliked: First suite smelt of cigarettes second suite was very spacious but very tired with the rest of the hotel. The bed was a 5ft mattress on a 4ft 6 base !!!!! I’m sorry they need to spend money on a refit the carpets are particularly bad the furniture must be 40 years old at least bashed and very tired same as the bathrooms. As great size the suite but we will not be coming back. I suspect because they are always full because of the location nothing will change. As long as guests know this you know what your getting

Excellent location but bedrooms are...

Liked: Excellent location, reception area very grand. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was lovely and very tasty
Disliked: The bedroom was very tired and dated. The bath looked like it needed bleaching although I assume the discolouration was just age so needs replacing and updating. The sink was blocked so too ages for the water to empty. Curtains didn’t close completely.

Superb

Liked: Right next to the Tower Bridge and Tower of London. There is a riverside bar overlooking the Thames. There are also other cafes, Costa coffee and a convenience store.
Disliked: Small room (but this is common in London hotels)

Only issue was the cleaner...

Liked: Excellent location for the Tower of London

Liked: The location was amazing, loads to do around the hotel and the view was jist incredible.

Overpriced hotel in need of...

Liked: Location: It was close to the Tower of London and London Bridge
Disliked: - It took a ridiculous amount of time to check in- Lifts were unbelievably slow and when they arrived, they were full - The alternative stairs were dirty and stank - The ‘alternative lift’ took you into an area that can’t be described, with no sign-posting of how to escape- The room’s ‘air conditioning’ didn’t work properly- The bedroom was more than in need of refurbishment - I’m not a fan of shower curtains- The noise from the outside seating area was something-else.But, there was a ‘Tesco local’ located around the corner, so you could buy things to help you cope.I consider myself to be a fair person and rarely write negative grumpy reviews.
