The Torbay Hotel

Great stay in Torbay. The weather was beautiful; the hotel was brilliant! Fantastic reception team. The whole visit met the expectations of the beautiful English Riviera. Will definitely book again!

Liked: Excellent and spotless room. Back view across the town, and of the church spire! Friendly and helpful reception staff!
Disliked: Nothing.

Cheap and cheerful

Liked: Breakfast was ok but chaotic as there was no clear flow. Staff were lovely.
Disliked: It was very hot throughout the hotel and the windows barely open (due to safety chain). There was a fan in the room but it was very ineffective. There is a lift but it is very slow and there was always a queue. New mattresses required

Liked: The hotel was clean and staff was lovely
Disliked: The room was far too hot had to leave after an hour after arriving had window open two fans on but the heat was unbearable

Very outdated hotel which needs...

Liked: Nothing really, very old building, the furniture/bathrooms/carpets are very tired. The room was very humid with a building smell of mould. The walls had spills of some liquid and the carpet under bed was filthy.

Liked: Staff very friendly breakfast was nice how ever I think they need a bigger breakfast station to accommodate all
Disliked: The room we was given was above the boiler room which kept us awake all night .
