The Torbay Hotel

Great stay in Torbay. The weather was beautiful; the hotel was brilliant! Fantastic reception team. The whole visit met the expectations of the beautiful English Riviera. Will definitely book again!

Liked: Excellent and spotless room. Back view across the town, and of the church spire! Friendly and helpful reception staff!

Liked: Close to amenities. Staff friendly and worked hard.Twin room, been updated in places.Breakfast buffet was good. Would of liked more Vegetarian options.
Disliked: Hot room, fan didn't quite cool the room. The extractor fan in the bathroom was very noisy, so couldn't have the bathroom light on through the night

Liked: Good location
Disliked: Big hotel and one very small and slow lift. Poor cleanliness in rooms, there was someone's faeces still in the toilet. Window sills covered in dust, crumbs all over bedside table, TV and hairdryer didn't work either. Breakfast was poor, barely warm, tasteless bacon, very limited options, no pastries etc.

For an overnight stay you...

Liked: Convenient location, room clean and tidy. Comfortable bed and staff very helpful and friendly. Considering the price it was outstanding.
Disliked: Nothing really

Liked: The location was excellent and the staff were very happy to help with local knowledge and always accommodating with anything we asked
Disliked: The parking arrangement we are both pensioners and having to carry our cases through town was very difficult.
