Liked: I stayed in the balcony room. Excellent size and comfortable. Large bathroom with bath.Marsha and all the team were very welcoming, friendly, and very helpful.The food was excellent, especially if you like your fish. I had the Lamb, which was lovely. I would highly recommend it. Breakfast was plentiful with a good choice. I personally had the kippers, which was great.

Would love to return.

Liked: The staff greeted us with sunny smiles after a hard drive....even though they were busy at the time. The food was absolutely superb. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them.
Disliked: Having attended a local wedding on the Friday, we returned to the Tickled Trout at about 7.30pm and it was busy enough with diners that finding a place to park in the car park (road outside too narrow for parking) was tricky. A slightly larger car park might be advantageous given TT's village situation.

Good

Liked: The breakfast was good for a small gastropub. We enjoyed the personal service from the staff and their attitude to make the stay memorable. It is somewhat off the usual beaten track, but in a lovely part of the world and has a distinct local personality.
Disliked: Nothing of any significance.
