Quiet location. Recommended.

Liked: It’s quirky with great food.
Disliked: We arranged for breakfast at 8am to arrive at a local horse trial on time. Unfortunately this wasn’t communicated causing us to arrive later than hoped.

Exceptional

Lovely property & lovely staff.

Liked: Brilliant staff who had expedited the servicing of our room so it was ready for our arrival hours before official booking in. Lovely little touches like a decanter with port in the room, fresh milk in a mini fridge & kit kat biscuits with plenty of tea & coffee. The gentleman serving at breakfast was lovely with the sweetest little dog who was very well behaved
Disliked: Nothing, would be happy to stay again if in the area.

Liked: Lovely room, the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. Breakfast was superb with plenty of choice in a delightful setting. Staff were lovely and very welcoming.
Disliked: Only one thing let it down and that was due to the person in charge of bath towels. They forgot to leave us any.

Disliked: The lights in the room didn’t work properly and the mattress was too soft for us. Also the wood in the window surrounds was rotten.

Liked: A wide choice and well presented. Greg was happy for us to have slight changes to what was on the breakfast menu. Fresh fruit and croissants were delicious

Liked: Liked the restaurant evening meal lovely and breakfast was piping hot lovely and fresh
Disliked: Nothing really except would prefer milk in sealed carton form
