Enjoyed our one night stay...

Liked: The breakfast was delicious and plenty of choice. The evening meal was also delicious, with quick, attentive service. Actually couldn't fault the hotel. Rooms lovely, beds comfy. Would fully recommend

Lovely location

Liked: Location on the river was gorgeous. Food in the restaurant was good.
Disliked: Service was inconsistent. Young lad was attentive, but others seemed to lack interest. Real ale selection was poor. Room was too warm.

A lovely place to stay...

Liked: The room was lovely and well equipped with teas and coffees etc. Had its own fridge too. Unfortunately I was ill whilst there and it was only my partner who could go down for breakfast, he said it was really really good. We ate dinner on our first night which was great. It was fresh and good quality food. A nice view of the river while you ate. The outside sitting area looked great too, but weather not permitting. We hope to return as I couldn't enjoy it properly this time unfortunately.
Disliked: there wasn't anything we didn't like but Id say a little more parking would be nice and the approach (the drive way) view didn't do the hotel justice, as it was lovely inside but hard to tell how nice from outside

Liked: quiet location near where we needed to be
Disliked: sloping ceiling on top floor meant banging head in the dark getting in and out of bed. Duvet too warm for summer weather. Breakfast @ £10 too big, leading to obesity or waste
