It was a very comfortable...

Liked: I liked all the little things about the room like the lights in the floor lighting up the bathroom. I also loved the food. It was a very quiet location. The woman that owned it had tried out each room which I liked and was also exceptionally nice.
Disliked: I didn’t like the fact it only had pegs to hold your clothes on- no wardrobe but I also appreciate there was no room for one. I disliked the curtains as you couldn’t pull them properly and they were frayed.

A very nice stay

Liked: The staff were marvellous. Flow and Adelle were super great, helpful and accomodating. The location and back garden were very nice. It was near the bus station and a walk from the train station.
Disliked: Nothing

Exceptional

Liked: The room itself was really nice, it was comfortable, had it's own little bathroom and a little window to let the air in. Despite the heat over the 3 days, it stayed pretty consistently cool even at night, and it was pretty quiet in there, although I did return late each night so I didn't often hear the bar when it was open. The breakfast was really good, I got something different each day and all of them were really good, the Full English was a great way to start the day, the pancakes were absolutely perfect, and the yogurt and granola came with fresh berries which was a lovely addition, it's great to know where the food comes from. There were other options, a vegetarian full english, a smaller breakfast option and I believe a couple of others which I don't remember, all with a tea or coffee to start the day (I can't comment on the coffee, but it was a really good tea). The owner was really nice and accommodating, as was the staff member who checked me in, and the location is Wonderful, its a nice little walk down from the train station and there are regular buses to both Falmouth and Truro from just down the road. All in all, my stay here was fantastic, I would highly recommend it and if I find myself looking for somewhere to stay in this area of the country again I'll be sure to come to the thirsty scholar again!
