Nice overnight stay to explore...

Liked: Location and finishes were very nice. Breakfast was delicious.. The sitting areas were nice too.
Disliked: Expected a fan in the bathroom. Rooms with 2 queens would be good for friend trips.

Liked: I liked how new & fancy it felt, how comfortable the bed was, and how good the water pressure was in the shower.
Disliked: I didn't like that when the booking site said breakfast was included, that I would have to walk down the street for a free muffin. Nor did I appreciate having to walk all the way around the building to get from the door, in front, to the parking lot out back, where I was guaranteed a parking spot. I mean, was a second door at the back of the building not in the budget? Seriously!?This last one is a personal preference issue. When I'm in a hotel for more than 1 night, I don't want a maid coming in just to move my thing and make the bed. Leave my thing alone and let me have my bedding just perfect. Go ahead and clean the floor, toilet, etc. but leave the bed and my things alone!!!I HATED that the gap around my door let in hallway light at night and sunlight in the morning! What's the point of blackout curtains if the door lets in light???Lastly, I didn't like being treated like I wasn't a valued guest. Nobody explained anything to me except how to get to my room & that breakfast was at the cafe down the street, but only with a voucher. I found out by walking around the property trying to find the door, that there was a pool, a gym, a penthouse suite, and cottages, nobody at check in said a word about the amenities here.

Liked: We loved the hotel and the staff was so helpful, especially Gregory who helped me print my red rock pass and was so wonderfully accommodating. Wonderful stay. We will be back!

Liked: The location was great, staff was friendly, room was quiet and a good size. The breakfast at La Crema was excellent, although the description of our room stayed “breakfast included”. This was misleading, as we were only given a $5 off coupon.
Disliked: We expected more considering we paid $400 for our room. My friend bashed her leg on the side of her bed twice. A full length safety bumper would help. Also, the comfort of the beds could be better, as the bedding was not the best quality. The description on the website indicated “breakfast included”. This was misleading, as we received a $5 off coupon for a restaurant across the street, and were expecting complimentary breakfast on site. The breakfast itself at La Crema was the best part of our stay, but it would’ve been nice to have known we were going to be paying for it. We also expected 2ply toilet paper for the price we paid. There was insufficient parking in the lot, so we had to find parking on the street. Our room also did not have a balcony or patio, which was disappointing. I feel that a reasonable amount to pay for the room is around $250, rather than $400. I understand that it’s peak season, but this rate was excessive, even for a Saturday night.
