Liked: The room (four) had been very nicely modernised. Would have benefited from a king size bed and a new quilt.
Disliked: The breakfast was appalling. There was a problem with theirTea urn so the water in the pot of tea was lukewarm. Muesli was on the menu but had run out. As for the cooked breakfast, Overcooked tomato, hash brown and Black pudding. And practically raw bacon and sausage. If we had eaten that sausage we would have been ill. However the manager was called and we were refunded for the price of the breakfast. such a shame as the evening meal had been very good albeit with a different chef.

Liked: Good location for us, on site parking for motorbike
Disliked: Could of had a better vegetarian option on the dinner menu

Liked: Bedroom very clean and comfortable. Breakfasts very good.
Disliked: Some areas need redecorating.

Liked: The staff were really helpful and polite. The room was very clean and had all the expected amenities. The menu is limited but the food is of really good quality and well presented. Beware though, the portions are huge! There is a good wine list too. The whole place is nicely decorated and has a lovely atmosphere.
Disliked: It would have been nice to have a chair in the bedroom but it didn’t stop us enjoying our stopover.
