Liked: We really enjoyed our stay at the Tap House. All the staff we talked to were really friendly. The room was simple but clean, comfortable and had everything we needed.

For the price was perfect....

Liked: Clean and tidy with ample space in the room. Can park outside the property off the street and go for some drinks or food in the pub

Liked: Felt unsafe with the some of the other guests so went hone that night, looked like someone had already tried to break in though the door .

Pleasant and enjoyable stay.

Liked: Staff courteous and friendly and check in straightforward. Pub and carvery excellent, staff very attentive and carvery food recommended. Within walking distance of Charnwood Forest Alpaca Farm and Ashby de la Zous only a couple of miles the other way and down hill going so walkable if you want to. Taxi back @ £5
Disliked: Room clean and comfortable but could do with a little painting / redecorating touch ups. Tea, coffee and milk in room, no biscuits! Difficult to fill kettle under tap in bathroom. On one of nights we stayed guests in neighbouring rooms returned early hours of morning and there was a bit of noise, not the fault of the Tap House and didn’t spoil our stay but worth knowing that this is a possibility! Would be good if some sort of breakfast was also an option.
