Liked: Fantastic Breakfast, you could have any combination on the menu.
Disliked: You would have to look very hard to find a problem. We didn't see one

Absolutely gorgeous stay in this...

Liked: Gorgeous friendly pub, open fire, good food, great breakfast, super bedrooms, extra goodies and fresh milk in the room fridge, proper hangers, hooks to hang stuff, comfortable bed, clean bathroom, super pet friendly, lovely garden, fantastic staff.
Disliked: Maybe a refillable glass bottle of beautiful Northumberland tap water in the fridge rather than plastic bottles.

Fantastic pub, Fantastic staff, Fantastic...

Liked: This was our first time at the Tankerville and it was excellent! We had our 2 dogs and it was safe to say we were all made to feel incredibly welcome! The staff were friendly and incredibly amenable. There is an enclosed garden space which we got to use briefly although it was then closed whilst laying new grass seed. The location is beautiful and close enough to drive to all the local attractions. Pub staff really helpful in suggesting local attractions. Breakfast was excellent!
Disliked: Our only point to feedback was that we were in the French room (first on the right) and this room's bathroom is across the corridor. Nothing that can be done about this and it is private for the room but you have to do a bit of a dash after shower/bath. Luckily we never saw any other guests but it's the only thing we would have changed.

Liked: staff all very friendly and the owner george and his wife mary excellent breakfast, resturant good choice, as for the rooms we would call it quirky but that is in a good way something we like didn't feel sterile like say a prem inn ect
Disliked: that we didn't book enough nights there ha ha

Liked: Nicely furnished room which was very comfortable for a 2 night stay.Traditional pub with good restaurant which was very attractively decorated.Friendly staff and owners who provided lots of info about the local area.Good value for money for this level of very comfortable accommodation and food.
Disliked: Nothing

Great food, comfy bed and...

Liked: Great food comfy bed and very peaceful. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Didn’t realise our room was not en-suite and had to cross the landing to visit our bathroom. Although we had a keyed for the bathroom, it’s not ideal going to the bathroom in your pj’s and not knowing if there will be someone arriving/departing their room.

Exceptional

Liked: Great atmosphere, very friendly staff and so helpful. We stayed in the suite for 3 nights and it was lovely and clean.
