Liked: A small, upscale resort-style environment in the Poconos. The outdoor seating and pool area were very comfortable, and the room was well-appointed with higher-end details—memory foam pillows, thick towels and robes, a nice hair dryer, etc.
Disliked: The hotel restaurant was a disappointment: Manhattan prices for mediocre or poor food. I had planned to have breakfast on their patio every day, for example, but quickly realized the food was not up to par. I did not try the Japanese restaurant on site.

Liked: The property is just over a year old and an overall a great hotel. Staff was exceptional! Plus the hotel was very well staffed. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. Rooms were very quiet. Location is excellent.
Disliked: The shower had an open end, rather than a full closing shower door. I have stayed in other properties with a similar open end concept but for whatever reason this shower allowed the water to run onto the bathroom floor more than it should. Honestly more of an annoyance than a major issue. Probably deserved a half point deduction to my overall rating. Since 9.5 wasn’t an option I decided not to take any deduction! Plus the staff more than made up the half a point!

Liked: I came here for my birthday weekend and it is a beautiful hotel in a great location. The staff were very friendly and helpful the entire time. The room was clean and well decorated. My only cons were the noise (thin ceiling/floor). Everytime someone walked around upstairs it sounded like they were were going to crash through the ceiling! Very unfortunate. Also, my door wouldn't lock and my room faced directly to the door of the stairs. That was a bit uncomfortable. Lastly, the pool is small. I had hoped that it was a little bit bigger to enjoy, but you really couldn't swim in it, it's more like a sit and lounge pool. Would I come back? Yes, but I would definitely request a room higher up!
