Liked: Friendly, helpful staff and a nice, spacious room.
Disliked: The bath was the wrong way round, meaning it was easy to bump your head on the sloping roof. It's not a big deal, though.

Liked: Friendly staff, easy to find. Good breakfast l. Parking was handy, small but we had a space.
Disliked: Property a little tired, could do with some TLC. We were in room 6, squeaky bed, no shower just hose over bath which was a work out for my 77 yr old mum. Very hot - but I imagine everywhere was.

Intriguing building and really enjoyable

Liked: The building and my room were quite surprising and very interesting. My room was bigger than expected but had everything I needed. The food was very nice the beers really good.
Disliked: Having to take a short walk to the sister hotel for breakfast, particularly when it opens late. That would be awful on a wet day as there is no shelter form the weather.

Liked: Great value breakfast if paid for in the room rate. Lovely friendly staff. Fantastic location. I booked very late - after 9 pm - and had no problem at all checking in that evening.
