Very good

Good location but a couple...

Liked: Good location - next to river with close access to town. Clean, freshly decorated room with large en-suite bathroom.
Disliked: A very hot day but the heating pipes in the room were radiating out a lot of heat and we couldn't turn them off. We did mention this to the person on Reception who just said it would go off at some point. Also no food due to a problem in the kitchen, and there weren't many places open in town for alternatives.

Lovely relaxing stay in an...

Liked: We booked the suite on the top floor and it was amazing !!!!! The bath was an amazing bonus !!!! The room was so clean apart from a dead spider which we got rid of. There was no hairdryer which was an issue for my girlfriend and if I’m being picky , some biscuits with the teas and coffees would have been nice , but really can’t complain , amazing place and so peaceful and quiet
Disliked: It was a bit warm , thank god for the fan in the room , but you’d expect it to be warm on the top floor .

Liked: The staff are great. Quality of the food and beer very good. Location could not be better. We stayed in the attic. Very comfortable large bed.
Disliked: Parking can be an issue. When there wasn't room to park we parked at the rugby club free. It's a short flat walk away. There's another pay to park lot as well.

Liked: Very welcoming Room was very clean and comfortable. Great location Staff very helpful

Disappointing

Liked: The location.
Disliked: The stairs were very uneven, not good for the infirm. There wasn't a wardrobe, hanging facilities or even hangers. Also a lack of room cleaning. During my stay the room wasn't attended once.
