Liked: Staff was extremely helpful, especially when it came to being flexible with our dog.
Disliked: Wish they had dedicated car parking spaces

Very comfortable stay in quality...

Liked: Lovely view down the River Severn; warm recently decorated room and super bathroom; mega comfortable bed with quality cotton bed linen and good pillows; friendly helpful staff.
Disliked: Mirror in bedroom too high for the vertically challenged (I'm 1.56m tall). No dehumidifier in bathroom, (I suspect because it is an old listed building), so guests need to open the window to prevent build up of steam. (Not a problem in milder weather.)

Extremely poor staff

Liked: Bedroom was smart and clean, and a moderate size. The Bar area and seating by the River were smart and comfortable, with lovely view
Disliked: Advertised parking, but the parking was ONLY ad-hoc, and we had to park over 500 metres away in a side street. We booked and paid for a room with a Bath, but could only have one if we paid a premium. Without any notification the bar shut at 8.30pm on the Sunday. Whilst we were playing cards in the guest's lounge, around 9.15/30pm suddenly the lights were turned off, and when we challenged the staff as to why, we were told they had to be turned off when the staff left the building, and should we wish to continue talking and playing cards, we should go to our bedroom !!!!We tried very politely to explain that this just wasn't acceptable, but the 'Senior' member of staff (Jade) became very rude and objectionable, and simply wasn't interested in our comments. Until this establishment carries out a performance review of the staff, implements some customer service training, and amends/improves its current working practices we would never recommend staying at this hotel to anyone.

Great Hotel in Great location

Liked: Reat Location on the River with lovely views. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely pub. Great attic suite with lounge, bedroom and bathroom. Lovely dining area and lounge bar. Good large full English Breakfast. Very comfortable with character. Well worth it. Thank you Luke and the team.
Disliked: Nothing not to like except no parking. Parked at Morrisons no problem. £3.00 for 24hr parking.
