Brilliant hotel and very dog...

Liked: The hotel was excellent: the location, helpful staff, dog friendly and excellent food. The hotel had a lovely garden and staff were happy to provide all meals outside, including breakfast. They couldn't have been more helpful. The barman was very friendly and gave helpful advice on local drinks to try.

Disliked: The room we stayed in was really small. It was a deluxe double but there wasn’t really any room to get ready for the wedding

Disliked: Food has been better in the past, it was ok, but a little over priced for what is was.

Liked: The young woman on the reception desk was polite, friendly and helpful. The hotel has seen better days and the advertising pictures must have been taken last century. The coach house room opens directly onto the car park and I will not be staying here again.
Disliked: I had paid for an upgrade to receive a superior room. In the event my room was reached via a narrow path through 2 parked cars directly next to the room.. The window opened directly onto the car park which meant that to maintain any resemblance of privacy the curtains had to remain closed throughout the stay. The fan / air conditioning unit for the entire hotel was a permanent noise and only switched off between 11:00 pm and 06:30 am.I was told I could upgrade again for additional cost.
