Liked: The river view was absolutely stunning, really lovely. Room was exceptionally clean, super friendly staff, wonderful hot shower. Hands off and easy checkout process.
Disliked: The boxed in waste pipe boxed in above the bed freaked us out a few times, we had a disturbed nights sleep because of this. Would suggest maybe better sound insulating this.

Disliked: Unable to check in for an hour and a half due to correct staff not being on site (only the barman there) and problem with making key card.1st room offered had broken toilet seat and rusty table and chair on the veranda. After threatening to leave we were given a 2nd room which had no cover on shower drain which was very painful for my partner when she stood on the exposed drain. Shower also had faulty door.Access to rooms was external from the pub (which is what the property is, a pub with rooms built separately at the back) and was in darkness across the car park.Room phone unplugged and didn't work when plugged back in. Lady had to reset the phone.Safe not working. Again lady had to set up safe online with her phone.No breakfast facilities on site.

Liked: The room was grate starf helpful and friendly. Music on the bar Friday night to loud barman could not hear to take my drinks order. Saturday night lack of food on menu. Ended up with bar snacks

Disliked: Generally run down look to it Needed updating etc Smoke alarm in room was flashing brightly throughout the night right above the bed. Extraction fan in bathroom didn’t work Bed was a bit lumpy and pillows were flat. Shower leaked onto bathroom floor

Liked: Location, comfy bed, nice staff, great steak. As boaters, we have stayed here many times. There is nowhere else in the locale to rival the view of the river from your room. Just gorgeous on a sunny morning.
Disliked: Rooms a little on the expensive side and no real obvious advantage between the standard and deluxe room for the price differential. Outdoor space tired and moorings in urgent need of repair (though appreciate that is a huge cost)
