Comfortable and good enough.

Liked: Great location. Decent food, very generous portions.
Disliked: ‘Single’ room very small to pokey. A bit pricey for room I had.

Liked: The hotel is ideally located to enjoy the wonders of the beautiful Northumberland coastline. The room was comfortable and had all the necessary facilities. The adjoining bar and diner were very useful for eating and relaxing in the evening.
Disliked: I couldn't access the Wi-Fi throughout my stay (yes, I did put in the correct password). Staff appeared a bit flustered and overworked at times, particularly at breakfast on the final morning of my stay when several guests at the previous evening's wedding reception had stayed on.

Liked: Location, friendly smiley staff.
Disliked: No sign for tea cups which were in a drawer. Whole fresh fruit would be more appealing and easier if served cut up. Danish pastries would be addition if possible! Breakfast lady very helpful and bright and smiley.

Nice place to stay

Liked: Great hotel in a fantastic location, it had a view of the castle from my room. Lovely old building and nicely decorated. The staff are really nice and friendly. The food is excellent value for the price.

Very nice place and staff....

Liked: Very comfortable and great location. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was good. We got the timings wrong on the second morning, they were really understanding let us make a coffee and eat some cereal even though they’d cleaned down
Disliked: We were in the room directly opposite the top of the stairs. The walls are paper thin, someone spent the night going in and out of a room slamming doors and running up and down the stairs. Ruined the stay a little bit, we were exhausted in the morning.

Liked: Amazing place with proper British Vibe.if you are a foreigner I highly recommend this hotel.
