Liked: Large and comfortable. It’s our second visit. Helpful staff. Lovely bedroomGood leisure facilities
Disliked: The hairdryers had been replaced since our last visit so Thankyou.However the shower and shampoo containers in the changing rooms were too difficult to get anything out of them! They are a very poor design and some of them were empty. I did mention this problem after my previous visit .

Liked: Staff were great, very helpful and friendly. Really felt they where invested in making sure we enjoyed our time in the hotel. Breakfast was brilliant, very tasty.
Disliked: Not a thing. Was a brilliant stay.

Liked: Unfortunately there was nothing great about the place
Disliked: On first impressions driving into an industrial estate we was faced with an in need of a paint outside hotel.We entered and went to reception and got our keys. On entering the room we found a hair in the bathroom sink. The tap sprayed in different directions. The toilet didn't flush. The pillows on the bed were so uncomfortable and awful. We went to reception and was told we couldn't move room until the following morning. Consequently we was expected to put up with the room allocated. We booked breakfast the following day and my wife found a hair in her fried egg. We left our breakfast and said we didn't want it the following day and they said.sorry but we won't refund you.On our return home I phoned best western customer services to complain. I was offered £60 compensation which just covered the breakfast we didn't have for 2 days. I'm still waiting for this and to get it you have to give them an international account number for your bank account.Best Western Premier Resort and spa sounds good but it's far from it.

Liked: The staff are friendly and polite. Rooms are comfortable and seemed pretty clean with fresh bed linen. I had a suite with a bedroom and living room area with a TV in each. Kettle with tea and coffee and decent size mugs and glasses. Nice to have a swimming pool, steam room and sauna accessible till 9.30pm which apart from one jacuzzi not working it was all good. Didn't access the spa facilities but pictures look nice.I had a generally comfortable stay here but wouldn't stay again.
Disliked: Although room was comfortable, decor is all a bit brown and beige, a couple of lighting fixtures weren't working and both TV remotes needed new batteries(got one fresh set from reception but only realised after that the other remote also dead but only needed the one) the bathroom tap had a weird filter on it that made water spray in a fan and splash everywhere. The bath tap dripped and the filter on it looked dirty. Went to the restaurant on the first night but the food, although edible and I ate it, was really mediocre Couldn't bring myself to go the second night and didn't go to the breakfast either. I feel this hotel really scrapes it's 4 star rating because it has a pool but it's really more a 3 star reality. It all feels a bit soulless and lonely businessmen and in need of an overhaul. The location is not in anyway scenic or near anywhere if you want to go elsewhere to eat apart from another hotel nearby.A taxi driver dropping me back asked if migrants were still in the hotel and I said I'd seen no sign of that and wasn't aware of the history of it but explains a lot.
