We stayed at The Study following a show at the World Cafe. We especially appreciated it's proximity to the venue. We parked our car at the hotel, for a reasonable fee, and walked to everything from there. Our room was well appointed without being excessive for an overnight stay. It was quiet. We were checked in and out by cheerful staff. Breakfast the next morning was delightful at the restaurant and we appreciated the access to coffee and tea at other times of the day. We would stay again, especially if visiting the World Cafe or another event in University City.

Liked: Clean; well-maintained; helpful staff; reasonable parking.
Disliked: My husband thought the pillows were too soft.

Liked: I enjoy this property very much. We always stay here when we come into Philly.
Disliked: It was quite expensive for that weekend due to graduation I think. I’m parking was $50 which I thought was a little much.

Well Maintained, safe, clean and...

Liked: The room was clean, good size and had a great bookshelf and chair to chill. Two bottles of water a day were nice, coffee/tea available and a good restaurant downstairs. Felt safe and the hallway and common areas are well kept. Staff was generous, kind and welcoming.
Disliked: Can't think of anything.

A gem of urban architecture...

Liked: The Nordic-inspired design and quality materials of the interior and the comfortable bedding, the nice restaurant and great breakfast. The location was perfect for what we needed to see and do, and the view from our room was amazing.
Disliked: A bit pricey; the phone didn't work, but it wasn't a big deal.

Quaint stay

Liked: The location was very convenient. It also was really clean and cozy. I also enjoyed the gym. It had everything for a solid workout. They also provide waters and towels. They do not provide a fridge or microwave which was good for me.
Disliked: I couldn’t figure out the AC in my room. Some times I’d wake up hot and I couldn’t understand why if I had the AC set to the temp of my home one.
