Clean, safe, and welcoming stay...
Liked: This hotel is located in the Homewood campus area of Johns Hopkins, which is considered one of the safer neighborhoods in Baltimore. There are plenty of restaurants and a supermarket just downstairs, which made it very convenient for us. The room was very clean and comfortable. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming — they even gave us bookmarks during check-in, which was a nice touch. The breakfast downstairs was also surprisingly good!

Clean, Modern Hotel in a...
Liked: The hotel is in an excellent location—right inside the main campus of Johns Hopkins University. The area feels safe and secure, and there are plenty of dining options nearby, including Chinese and Western restaurants, cafés, bars, and small grocery stores. The hotel itself is new and very clean. In the morning, complimentary coffee and tea are thoughtfully provided in the lobby. The front desk staff are also warm and welcoming. A very comfortable and convenient stay overall.

Short but sweet
Liked: The Study is on the expensive side, especially because how small the rooms are. But they are comfortable and environmentally conscience (linen duvets, motion activated lights). The front desk staff was amazing and we ended up at the bar at closing time, and the bartender totally took care of us.
Disliked: The only reason I gave a smile for the facilities was how unpredictable the elevators were. We ended up taking the stairs, which was fine.

Monopoly near Johns Hopkins- not...
Liked: The location to Johns Hopkins. The class was at the Study.
Disliked: Very tight room, no refrigerator or modern conveniences like other hotels. They have a monopoly because of their location to JHU. The capstone class my son took was a required class within the hotel. Private security was around the neighborhood, which indicated that the area is not safe, lots of homeless people on the streets nearby, which was sad to see. This is by far one of the worst hotels I've stayed at.
