Had a lovely stay, room...

Liked: Staff very friendly, room was clean, we had problem with the shower , staff sorted it straight away, we didnt have breakfast as weatherspoons round the corner, but food smelt lovely.
Disliked: stairs and lift , lift seemed to be in middle of property so some stairs to go up, if you very disabled may be problem. Car parking was a bit expensive we thought but car was safe and off the street, quite small spaces to get into but ok.

Liked: Although small, the standard room had a huge bed and a modern bathroom. The blackout blinds worked exceptionally well.
Disliked: Parking can be an issue. The hotel has minimal parking that must be reserved. You can purchase a 24-hour badge from reception and find a spot near by.

Liked: Great quiet location within easy walking distance of everything needed for a stay in Harrogate; cosy bar & lounge; amazing on-site restaurant; friendly & professional staff.

Superb

Liked: Very friendly and accommodating staff, made you welcome from arrival to departure. The Orchid restaurant served beautifully presented and tasting food, also had a gluten free menu. Off road parking(extra cost) was perfect. Great breakfast.
Disliked: Check the mattress being offered, some are memory foam, not one for me.

Excellent restaurant but the hotel...

Liked: The linked restaurant was lovely and the food both for the evening meal and breakfast was very good. The central location of the hotel was great and having parking available was also a benefit. The staff where friendly.
Disliked: I booked an superior exc. double and the room while acceptable, I wouldn't consider as such. A small dated double room with the double bed being to singles placed together. The room Lighting was poor. However, the bathroom while compact was acceptable. Overall a cramped dated interior that matched the dated access corridors decor, for a centrally located four star hotel.
