Disliked: 100years old and looked it paid about 3 times what it was worth Restaurant poor reflected by the fact it was always empty . Room was not cleaned or visited during my 3 night stay.also I discovered that the rate I paid through booking.com was inflated by over £100/night from the normal hotel rate which I wish to complain about

Great location but terrible hotel

Liked: Great location right by the harbour. Staff were friendly.
Disliked: No housekeeping - you have to go to reception to get top ups of tea, coffee, toilet paper etc. Restaurant is dreadful - everything you might want to eat or drink is unavailable, and the rest is uninspiring. Hotel is unlicensed.

Disliked: Had to wait for breakfast at 7.30am, nothing was ready.

Pleasant enough, but not very...

Liked: Location was great..just minutes from port.Helpful staff when I needed use of a screw driver to fix dogs cart.
Disliked: It's NOT dog friendly. They charged £25 per dog!!! ( I have 2 small non shedding dogs..nowhere else have I been charged per dog! )Had to climb 2 sets of stairs to room with all my bags and dog trolley.Room was small, but ok.

Disliked: Dated hotel, I unusually don’t mind dated, but…Bike abandoned in the entrance.Poor value at £359 for 2 nights no breakfast included. The most expensive of all our trip. No maid service so made own bed and wash cups etc with no facilities, and had to ask for fresh towels, but at this price point this is not acceptable. Microwaved breakfast, unable to cut the sausage as it was rock hard, the bacon was the same. The eggs cold and only scrambled on offer. No alcohol served at this hotel at the bar or even with dinner! Such a shame as this building could be stunning

Liked: Loved the old style/woodwork/good size rooms/ comfy bed and staff were great.Breakfast was good too
Disliked: Lack of fresh air access - windows shut and no extractor fan in bathroom.Sad no liquor licence but good to have the BYO licence which worked well
