Superb

It was ok for what...

Liked: Location was really good & staff were really friendly.
Disliked: We were in room 8. The room was so hot & although the room was a really good size, the bathroom was really poky. Breakfast was included in the price. We asked for black pudding as an extra on the cooked breakfast & we also had the breakfast muffin - £4 less in value but we had to pay £2 for the black pudding. Just seemed really silly. Would it be easier to have a value for the breakfast.

Disliked: It was very dated. Had problem with shower.Wasn't a warm welcome

Liked: The room was comfortable and clean.staff friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The window did not close properly so people shouting outside woke us. Boiler was broken so unable to shower in morning

Bit of a let down

Liked: The discount given as there was not hot water throughout the hotel due to a faulty boiler which we were informed about the day before but could not source anywhere else in that location due to the amount of people that were traveling to the wedding.
Disliked: The pillows were wafer thin,the bathroom was uneven and the wc was sitting at an angle/slope.The room smelt musty, no socket on window side of bed.

Pleasant

Liked: Breakfast was good, coffee not very good. I thought breakfast was include in booking price, it wasn't!
Disliked: I was unable to select TV channels, room was provided with table top fan but curtains had been left open therefore temperature was uncomfortably high.
