Great Birthday at The Strand

Liked: The room was clean and comfortable. The pool and hot tub are very large and clean. The Oceanfront view is awesome. Breakfast both mornings was wonderful! The buffet food stayed fresh and full and coffee stayed brewed.
Disliked: The elevators have no air flow or ventilation. It was very hot in them. The balcony is tiny but has a great view. At around 230am, I left my shoes at the bottom of the stairs to go onto the beach and when I came back 10 minutes later they had been stolen :(

Liked: I was there last year and looked forward to returning for a relaxing few days. I like the location of The Strand, the pool and that the ocean is so close. The day time bartender is very friendly and personable.
Disliked: I do wish you upgrade a bit. Although it is clean, there is a lot of wear and tear and is need of some updating. I left for a tour early one morning and the staff member Mike seemed a bit annoyed when I wanted to purchase a bottle of water.But it was surprising when I arrived at 9am for breakfast and there was nothing available! The hot dishes were ALL empty, as was the cereal and bread /bagels were also empty. I wasn't expecting to have to go out to get breakfast.

Liked: The free breakfast was good. Better to go as early as you can to avoid a crowded room. Very close to the beach. And not too much traffic when crossing the street to get to parking garage. We didn’t order from the restaurant/kitchen at the hotel but there were many places close enough to walk to get food or drink. Beds are comfy and they give you enough pillows. Nice view of the ocean.
Disliked: The bathroom even though it had a fan, everything was dripping wet from condensation after one shower. Walls, floor, and countertop. Also the carpet was visibly very dirty; I wouldn’t walk around bare foot I wore my sandals when walking around because my socks felt nasty. The standard room was very crowded.

Liked: Staff and location were good.
Disliked: Breakfast is not great. Cleanliness of the room is not good. And the room is very much cramped. Not enough space to move around. Balcony was very small. Not worthy of the money paid for. May be because of the peak season rates were too high. And photos of the room shown while booking could be misleading

Liked: I Love the smell of cleanliness when you walk in the door!!! The Condo was Amazing!!!! The Staff was Very Nice and Informative!
Disliked: Nothing!

Liked: The Staff was very friendly
Disliked: The first room was dirty finger prints still on appliances a spider Webb on the sheets dusty and floor very greasy so they moved me to another room then we get there it was dirty. Hair left on counter top in bathroom and Tub behind mattress headboard was very dirty i cleaned it myself.

Needs a little tlc but...

Liked: The view was very good. The breakfast was good. The location was great.
Disliked: The porch leaked. When we arrrived it was pouring down rain. I think we got wetter under the awning. Parking was crossed the street so you had to unload under it. The doors had swollen so we couldn’t get in. The keys would not work so it took a while to get into the room. Then we discovered it had no frig for our drinks. The handy man was great, he was right on whatever our problem. Shout out to Willis!!!!
