Liked: great location , this pub does not serve food , but the Mashey arms just around the corner did excellent food , ( 2 minute walk ) this pub is also located in a very nice residential area and was safe

Liked: It was clean
Disliked: Loud quiz when on till nearly 23.00. Mattress von the bed had seen better days and room was above the beer store so kept awake by the cooler going.

Excellent place to stay

Liked: Great location for what i needed. Room was large, well appointed and well decorated. It was comfortable. The recommendation of the Masham Restaurant nearby was first class. All in all very good indeed. Easy parking too.
Disliked: Not much. Breakfast is continental so not a cooked one.

Comfy, clean, friendly pub with...

Liked: Super friendly staff, good parking, spotlessly clean throughout, lovely cold breakfast with extensive choices, i would definitely return (went to watch my local team play Stockton Town FC which was a pleasant 25 min walk from the pub).
Disliked: Only bit I scored down was no coffee available in bar (but coffee and tea making facilities in own room, and hot drinks available at brekkie), and pub open only 4-11pm, with no food. However all this is clearly mentioned on booking website, if I'd read it properly! And they signpost guests to nearby pub The Masham for food, which was a few moments walk away and very nice.
