Liked: The property was wonderful but when we arrived as we booked 4 rooms as a wedding party for the night before my sons wedding, we were told the previous owner of the accommodation had gone into liquidation and the accommodation had a name change and the new owners were only booking through Airbnb nowWe were not advised of this as apparently the lawyer had not advised booking sites of this so booking.com please be aware of this!But as we had already paid in full and fortunately rooms were available for us and they honoured the booking and we pleasant about itHowever I’m hoping booking.com takes this accommodation off their site as for us it could have been a disaster and I don’t want it to happen to others

Disliked: I arrived at the Stirling Golf Club mid afternoon yesterday, Saturday 31st August as per our booking. The whole establishment was closed down, there was no one in attendance, the accommodation rooms had been stripped and the whole place was a mess. There were signs on windows stating that the business had gone into receivership at the end of July 2024.My wife and I were bitterly disappointed as we were to attend a family celebration nearby. Furthermore, there was nowhere else to stay in the region.I received a message this morning via Booking.com and was horified to read that we had been charged over $190 for a service that we never received.I hereby request that a full refund be processed back to my credit card immediately.

Liked: Nothing as the business is in administration
Disliked: That the business was closed yet still took our money when booking the room.

Lovely clean stay

Liked: Lovely, clean place to stay for a night. Staff were friendly and the bed was warm and comfortable.
Disliked: The coffee expired over a year ago. It is also risky to park your car because the golf course is very close.

Liked: Layout of the rooms and the outlook over the fairway and gully.
Disliked: Room was very cold - heater did not work properly. Curtains are not hung correctly, so light can enter and heat escape.Clubroom not available for drinks nor dinner - so have to travel 10 mins by car for dinner.Breakfast only partially supplied - so cold cereal to start the day - given the toaster and spreads I'd expect some bread as well.
