Gorgeous Property, Terrible Stay

Liked: The property itself is one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve seen in the US… but that’s all…
Disliked: Stunning setting, yet the service, comfort, and staff were a total letdown. Such a waste. I’ve never slept so poorly in a hotel, constant noise from the AC units, hallways, neighbors, gardeners, even maintenance staff. The bedding was awful, housekeeping basically nonexistent. For the price of the night, I’m just blown away (and not in a good way). On top of that, they tried to stick us with an outrageous parking fee even though we didn’t have a car on the property.Even with the kind efforts of Gustavo to smooth things over, it wasn’t enough to make up for it. This hotel is a disaster

Liked: I loved the size of the suite. The grounds were very peaceful. The pool was lovely. Staff was responsive.
Disliked: Our bathroom sink did not drain well. And I could hear the air conditioning unit from the room upstairs loudly through the walls. There were little things like that. I liked staying there, I just felt it was a little expensive. Especially the food in the restaurant.

Liked: Very pretty and comfortable setting and easily accessed once you could find it
Disliked: Poorly signed entrance, overpriced food and drinks. Aircon didn't work, 2 hour wait for room to be ready after 4pm arrival. Sofabed for our daughter was very uncomfortable and wasn't made up. Charged full price for cocktail drinks during 'Happy Hour' which were then undrinkable. Indifferent attitude from staff.
