Friendly staff; great sized room and great breakfast. Very pleasant stay.

Disliked: Our TV or Wi-Fi didn’t work due to no signal in our room.

Very good stay, good deal...

Liked: Location was excellent, just over the road from the train station and bus station. Do not be deceived by the outward appearance which looks tired. Inside the building is lovely, and the staff so helpful. The breakfast was amazing.
Disliked: Handrails on both sides of the main staircase would be a good idea.

Will return.

Liked: Central location, charming building, a comfortable bed, excellent food, competent staff.
Disliked: Overall decor is period which is fine with me but room interiors could be updated.

Liked: -really nice hotel - didn’t get the occasion to eat there but smelt really nice.- the beds were really comfy - bathroom good size shower as well -
Disliked: Parking to small for the size of the hotel The pressure in the shower was alright but could of been better especially for the little head and it took a while to warm in up which is surprising as we were only on the 2nd floor

Exceptional

Liked: Parking conveniently located at the back of the hotel (extra payment required). The room, the beds and the bathroom were enormous. Very good bathtub. Conveniently located in front of the station and shopping centre, 5 minutes walk from the city centre. Breakfast was included and very decent, too.

Filthy hotel room

Liked: Staff were friendly and extremely helpful food was excellent
Disliked: View out window was of a wall. Cleanliness left back lot to be desired red/orange stains stains on the floor. Wet stains on bathroom ceiling one of which was mouldy, rust on bathroom radiator, cracks in tiles and while I admit its hard to get an exterior clean the windows looked like they hadn't been cleaned on eithier side in months. Just a total lack of maintenance and pride in the presentation if whatvwas classed as a deluxe room. Incase only staying for two nights any longer i would have went elsewhere.

UPGRADE

Liked: Nice hotel very central.
Disliked: Room had no mirror. and although comfortable was needing a face-lift.

I adore staying regardless and...

Liked: I always stay at the station and it is lovely.
Disliked: The smell in the bathroom coming from 101 drains was awful and I think there must be smokers area near by as when I stayed in Grampian Suite the smell in bathroom was overwhelming of cigarette smoke.
