Friendly staff; great sized room and great breakfast. Very pleasant stay.

Disliked: Our TV or Wi-Fi didn’t work due to no signal in our room.

Liked: Location ideal for bus or train, handy with shops. I booked a single room and it was good sized and very clean, shower was superb! Small fridge in room an added bonus.

Liked: Lovely and very helpful staff. Beautiful house - interesting features across the hotel, although some parts, such as the back staircase were rather tired.The room itself was very spacious and the beds/pillows comfortable.Literally next to the station, but from the back rooms, the trains were not very audible (at least when using ear plugs).
Disliked: The room lacked such simple and helpful features as a shelf in the bathroom, shelves for clothes in the wardrobe, and light blocking curtains (a must in a town located at such high latitudes, in the summer, most of the night is very light).

Great for adults

Liked: Great location. It was over the road from the station as you would expect with that name. The food was good. I ate at the hotel in the evening and had fish and chips. The room was very comfortable and spacious. The reception staff stored my case for day which was very helpful
Disliked: The only thing I didn't like was the staff kept you waiting when I ate at the hotel in the evening. Chips were a bit hard for my liking.
