Loved our stay

Friendly staff , well run...
Liked: Lovely landlady who went over and above , from helping with luggage to endless supply of tea and coffee at breakfast along with constant supply of bottled water
Disliked: The pillows were synthetic and I would have preferred a feather pillow but that is just personal preference

Short but very pleasant indeed.
Liked: Friendly staff, nice big rooms and clean. Food was excellent, best breakfast I’ve had in a while!!

Good value for money but...
Liked: Easy going and lots of outside space
Disliked: Access to bedroom a bit tricky. Staircase carpets rather worn.

Great pub, comfortable place to...
Liked: Wonderful friendly welcome from all the staff. Charming atmosphere. Delicious food, great local beer. Good breakfast too.
Disliked: My only negative thing is when I came into the bar for breakfast at 8.30, the cleaner was still mopping the floors, so there was a slight smell of cleaning fluid and a slightly slippery floor.
