Fabulous

Liked: Absolutely loved my stay, wish it was longer every detail was thought of, water bottles conveniently and generously everywhere, gift of a moisturising lip balm and cream on bedside table, spacious !! , clean , automatic toilet ( self heating; flushing and cleaning) etc ..., staff were very respectful and helpful ..etc , had unfortunately pre-booked most of my stay at Sofitel , due to ICC being across the road , biggest regret; I arrived a day earlier so had to pleasure to discover this stay, the Star hotel should be a 5 star hotel , Sofitel ( allegedly 5 stars ) was absolutely horrible, unhelpful staff, unhelpful rude receptionists and management, rooms are tiny for the price you pay, cleanness was terrible , every detail just horrible huge regret , will be staying at Star hotel next time

Excellent location and good accommodation...

Liked: Fabulous location with metro transport very close by.
Disliked: My room had two beds. One bed was made very haphazardly and I had the feeling the sheets might not have been changed. I can't say for sure. The bathroom floor had hair as did the shower. I do morning stretching and noticed a lot of debris on the carpet. It was not vacuumed during my stay. There was debris on the tiles upon entry which remained for the duration of my stay. The door to the wardrobe didn't close fully so the wardrobe light was on all the time. I found the mattress to be very soft.

Liked: The staff were excellent and tried to assist our booking issue - They gave us an upgrade which was nice
Disliked: I was disappointed that I booked with Booking.com a room with harbour views. While we were upgraded to a great room, our view was that of a brick wall. It appears that somewhere along the way between your company and the Star, our booking was incorrect

Liked: Great upgrade, gym is simple but good. Rooms were spacious

Friendly staff and comfortable room

Liked: Room was clean and comfortable. Pillows were amazing. All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Sydney rainy weather which has nothing to do with the hotel.

Family Staycation

Liked: Great location. Friendly staff. Easy self parking. 2 bed apartments are roomy, and was clean and comfortable.
Disliked: The in room dining breakfast was horrible. We tried buffet last time and were extremely disappointed so we tried in room dining this stay and it was just as bad.
