A well above average country...

Liked: This really nicely run pub was perfectly placed on my 4 day cycle tour, and it provided the perfect way to rest and recuperate! The landlord was welcoming and charming, the chef greeted me on arrival and helped find a safe place to store my e-bike. Scarlett behind the bar was top notch too. The room was larger than I'd expected, bright, nice wooden furnishings, and a v comfortable 4 poster bed! Large, clean bathroom, with a bath as requested, for my aching legs :) I had a really good quality evening meal and breakfast, served up in the traditional and beautifully decorated main bar area. An hour in the sunny garden was lovely. I would definitely stay again!

Liked: Jim and his staff were all very friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to organise transport for us.The room was big, nicely decorated, clean, with a very comfortable bed.Drink making facilities in the room, with a selection of coffee pods and fresh milk in the mini fridge.Good lighting, Breakfast was delicious, made with good quality produce.We would definitely stay again.
